Track and Driver Opens!

2003-02-23 22:10 by Track and Driver

Calgary Alberta , Feb 24, 2003. Track and Driver Inc. is pleased to announce the first and only North American Championship for all short track racers in all classes. Track and Driver ranks all their registered racers in similar type race cars running weekly shows in North America. The point standings are updated in real-time and available on their website at

Track and Driver president and founder Jason Stevens: "Race results from tracks in North America are automatically added to our driver's championship point standings. Anyone visiting our site can get an up to date view of the top drivers in almost every short track class in America. Whether a driver is racing a Wissota Late Model in Wisconsin, or UMP Late Model in Tennessee, they are all ranked against each other. Our champions in each of our classes will truly be the best in North America."

"Track and Driver is also the most valuable marketing tool any racer can have," explains Stevens. " Member drivers get their own personal web page where they can market themselves and their sponsors to the nation. Drivers’ web pages are automatically updated in real-time with all their race results. A driver can save email addresses for all their sponsors and fans, so every time a new race result is added, with a push of a button, their results are sent to them.

Stevens gives this example of how useful this service is. "A driver goes out and collects money from various businesses during the off-season to put into their car. Race season comes along and between racing and fixing the car they lose contact with the sponsors, especially the smaller ones. Next thing you know race season is over and the sponsors are not happy because they never heard from you. With Track and Driver, all your sponsors are kept abreast of how you did every week and truly feel like they are part of your team. This is a sponsor who will be back supporting your team next season."

Track and Driver is also the ultimate marketing and data management system for track promoters. Several years in development, Track and Driver is the easiest and most user-friendly race result data entry system ever.

"Our system does everything. It automatically calculates all scoring and points for each track. Once a promoter uses or system, they will wonder how they ever managed without it," says Stevens.

More than just an data management system, anyone who enters the Track and Driver web site can click on that track and get up-to-date weather info as well as all track standings, schedule, results and can link to that track's website if available.

Track and Driver --- A must for all track promoters, and a must for all racers.

"At only 59.95, or about 5 bucks a month, it’s a first-class web system for next to nothing,” concludes Stevens.
